could be years. Could be the rest of her life. No one but her doctor can tell you that.
The Dr hasn’t told you how long because there is no way to predict. She made need some form of antidepressant for the rest of her life. I hope is wasn’t prescribed by her GP because these types of drugs should only be prescribed along with some type of physicatry or mental health counseling. Anti depressants take up to 3 months to take effect and doseages need to be adjusted periodically.
